So sorry for your loss, CC. I know how hard that is. Pets have always been considered moreso in my family.
As for my current dwelling, my roommates have two cats, and each of them have service animals. No pictures as of yet, but will be forthcoming!

I recently bought a rooster in the Philippines and my friend there is looking after it until I return. It's not exactly a pet though.
