None of this surprises me outside of being caught in so many spots all in a short span of time.

none of it surprises me either. which i said in my post. it's not the spying, or the sneakiness that surprises me. it's the technological sophistication and the scale of data-mining. it's absolutely massive. far larger than what everyone assumed when the NSA story first broke. and i still haven't seen anyone take a real crack at how large it actually is when factoring in the spying on so many foreign targets.

and it's not even scary in and of itself. what's worrisome about it is that the ability of the government to spy on people is far more futuristic and advanced than anyone thought aside from the filthy messes screaming about big brother on street corners.

I don't even understand the bitchfest by foreign heads of state. Everybody does this.

Spying on foreign leaders is actually the least objectionable thing the NSA has done of late. I wish they would get back to doing that, and stop spying on innocent civilians.
