It's a great beginner bike, I'm not so worried about dropping it as with the other cruiser models. That said it'd be nice to have an automatic neutral finder and a little more stability on the road.

I was shifting down at a stoplight, then at the green slowly releasing the clutch and giving a bit of throttle but the bike wasn't moving. I looked down and realized it was in neutral!I could have sworn I'd just switched down to first gear, must have accidentally clicked it up. Anyways, while I'm getting my bike legs I don't mind having something a bit smaller. Now I just need to get saddle bags to carry my stuff.

I had 8-9 gin and tonics at this wedding we were at yesterday.. And I barely got a buzz... I am sure that after 40 years of drinking gin I have become immune.

Small world, met up with my old friend, it was nice to see him and his family. I knew he worked out at the site where my son will be working, but with multiple employers and 8,000 peeps out there, thought it would be remote he'd know anyone my son would be working with. Turns out he works for the same company which has 4 engineering teams, while he leads one of the teams, he does know my son's supervisor of the team he will be working with very well, had no idea my son had been hired till yesterday.

Saturday: sleep in, do nearly nothing all day (read some comics - The Massive & East of West, both are amazing), go to bar with friends and laugh at drunken debauchery (I shit you not the younger iteration of Duck Hunters nearly got into a fight with a band of Hipsters).

Sunday - wake up at nine. Proceed to laundromat with a shitload of laundry and hate life. Realize that my shift changed from 4pm to 12am to 2pm to 10pm. Frantically fold clothes, head home, change into scrubs, and return to work. Arrange for female friend to come over as I get home. Bake cookies and offer hot chocolate (It got cold). Profit.

So not bad. Could've been better but not bad.
