The SCOTUS is made up of human beings. Human beings can make mistakes. This is a good example. Like I said, as long as the fat cat middleman knows his/her product is required by law for all, his/her product is not going to be affordable. Don't believe it? Sit back and enjoy the show.

Exactly. You don't just get to say "Well I don't agree with the Supreme Court" and then ignore a law.

You get a majority to overturn a law via the legislature. These people can't do that, though, because they're not a majority--they're a minority. Rather than operate within the lines of our democracy though, they do incendiary things like threaten to default the nation.

I think you are both missing the point, that something unconstitutional can be ruled constitutional by the supreme court. They only determine how law will be applied, not the fundamentals of reality.

I think my point is that when something you're calling "unconstitutional" was:

a) affirmed by the SCOTUS and
b) allegedly the best idea ever when YOU (his party) proposed it in 1989

...the whole Constitutional argument? It's a bad one. It's not that these people believe that. It's that it's Obama.
