I never worked for IBM, but I live in IBM country. I know dozens of friends and family who did, or if they are lucky still do work for them.. In the 90's IBM employed 400,000 employees.. 300,000 here, and 100,000 overseas.. Now it's is just the opposite. 100,000 here, 300,000 overseas.. And believe me, those jobs that went overseas most were NOT unskilled. This is one reason I want to throw up when these phony and hypocritical corps wave the flag and use vets to act like they are so patriotic. Most of these companies pay little to no fed income tax, and they outsource as many jobs they can so they can squeeze every single penny of profit. They don't give a flying Fvck about the Vets, the country or their workers.. They only care about the bottom line and WS.
IMO this is reason #1 people are having so much problems getting good work here. Not only are college grads here competing with millions in the US, but also competing against millions and millions in India and China, etc..
It is truly a race to the bottom.
