It is our elected representative's responsibility to ensure that jobs stay in our borders, this means if HP wants to close up shop and outsource to China, then our representatives should impose a tariff on computers equal to the difference in wages between Chinese and American workers.
What I would like to see is a free trade bloc, but only for countries with comparable minimum wages. This would prevent worker exploitation and outsourcing yet comparative advantages would still be present.
So, I'm pretty pissed off
