And if you want to make roads with private funds, then that's fine, then stop requiring me to have insurance and to register my vehicle if I want to drive on them. Because the money I pay for registrations and drivers licences is supposed to help the upkeep of the roads.
So if you're going to pull the gov't out of it, pull it out 100%.
Of course, that would mean no more speeding tickets, a HUGE source of revenue for local gov'ts. Because, as you know already, gov't can't enforce traffic laws on private roads.

Yea, I think some are getting public universities and public education confused.

Yeah I'm certainly not denying the success of the universities. I was referring to high schools and the like. They certainly do suck. There are some exceptions, inevitably, but one only needs to look at how US students stack up with the rest of the world to see the failings of our public schools.
