Ok update, got to to workish through the gamespy lobby.

Unfortunately, trying to play with simultaneous turns mode seems to send it into a loop of 'out of sync errors' which (not to be rude) i'm guess is at your end TDB.

try again without simultanous turn mode?

Ok, then its not simultenous turn mode. Next step, figure out what's causing these out of sync errors

It should work if you have port 2056 open. Which we do.

Ok i've made another game, same name same password.

Apparently there is a log for all this though, so we might be able to divine whats going wrong from there.

ok they seem to change every time, but after you went out them back back in for a second there. The values here: my sync:194833736, yours: 478285232

As I don't have the steam version, prehaps the best test next is to see if you can play with someone with steam without it going batshit.

Or better yet, turn on logging and we can give it another try. See at least if the error is consistent.

Well we at least know that you can connect to mine, so i've got another test game up now, same password etc. I've turned logging on hopefully, so can at least look under the hood to see whats going on this time. 'Hopefully'.
