Hockey or soccer is more like an episode of honey boo boo. The entertainment value is all presented out front, but there's nothing really to it. Very shallow and unsophisticated.

It definitely requires skill. It's just a less sophisticated game than baseball or football. We're talking about watching the highest level of the game as spectators here. These are all athletes with more skill than any of us. I said it's popularity stems from the fact that it's less complicated than other sports like football or baseball, which a 3 year old really could not understand.
