It doesn't make any sense to compare states within the United States. The gun control laws of Chicago are meaningless if people can simply obtain guns in a neighboring city or state without such laws and import them back into Chicago.

half of which are in states without strict gun control. so, again, what does this show? it doesn't actually help what you were saying, if that was your intention.
