because of a situation where my parents illegally entered my home and "cleaned" it for me earlier this year in order to rifle through my things (we're not getting into this story right now), i had not located the 12 tins of royal dansk cookies i bought at walmart last boxing day for a dollar a piece and they had fallen from my memory. that is, until when i went in search of fancy containers for other holiday treats this year. i found my tins, and the 'best if eaten by' date is still a year away. and that's bullshit date anyway, these things would last at least another five years if not a decade, easy. but they won't last that long, no no. I f**k LOVE ROYAL DANSK COOKIES. and you know what else i love? legos. i have a shitton of legos at my house actually. i have a 150 dollar set i have yet to build still in the box (i will soon, just, things get in the way). no it's not childish. anyway, as i'm pretty sure that butter cookies and legos are the only two things denmark exports, i'd like to thank the dane who has worked undoubtedly worked tirelessly to bring me these things. happy holidays.

My life has become a single, ongoing revelation that I haven’t been cynical enough.
