Are Parties the way to go?

There should be a 3 party system:

Outer Party- members with the most thanks

Inner Party- admins and mods

Proles- everybody else

Make several broad but defining Parties. Something along the following lines:

Conservative Party (Republicans of all stripes, Tories, the right in general)

Liberal Party (Democrats, social dems and so on)

Independent/Green Party (self explanatory)

Libertarian Party (those who ideologically follow Ron Paul or Hayek or Rand and so on)

Left Opposition Party (the whole of the Left: socialists, communists, anarchists, all leftist sectarian minutia included)

One or two more could be added to fit possible needs.

Argh as a fan of Old Labour here in the UK, it's frustrating seeing the socialists and the social dems being split. I normally sit with the socialists but occasionally with the social dems.
