casino didn't shuffle it's cards. 14 strangers playing baccarat realized the cards were unshuffled and won 1.5 million dollars. casino thought they were being swindled and put survilence up around the players... later searched their rooms etc. but in the end... the casino didn't shuffle the cards. and they don't want to pay out the money because of it
most everyday people lose their money to the casinos. one time in a billion the casino does something stupid -- it didn't shuffle it's cards -- and loses
so they're suing and countersuing... but the casino is suing the players for the money it owes them because state gambling regulation requires all casino games to be fair odds -- to both sides. thus, because they didn't shuffle their cards, they should not pay out the money, because they were not providing a fair environment to themselves
