I watched Gambit a couple of weeks ago. Cameron Diaz ruined it. Whose idea was it to put her in the film? It would have been fairly good, otherwise.

Not a film, but a TV series. Ripper Street. Awful acting and the plot lines are just silly. The first series started quite well, but it got worse and worse. I have a feeling it's shown in some parts of the US. Don't bother.

i thought desolation of smaug was much better than the first one, which i liked a lot. it still annoys me that they made a trilogy out of it, though.

Adore, 6/10, pulled this out of redbox. Basic plot is two older aulstralian cougars start having affairs with each others sons. Some very ffunny moments.

American Hustle. 8/10 raw, 6/10 adjusted score for what it could have been with a tighter story.

The New Hobbit: 3/10

Judging this based on what the Hobbit could have been. The LOTR and the Hobbit is like comparing Star Wars IV, V, VI vs I II and III. The new Hobbit was targeted more at children, corny and overproduced. The barrel scene literally looked like a video game.

American Hustle: 7/10

Really good and entertaining and even funny. My critique is that the movie felt a little rushed. This is a movie that you could stretch out to 2.5-3hrs to develop the characters a little more. I think if allowed to develop more the betrayal could have had the sort of emotional force as in Donnie Brasco.
