My dad loved the Hobbit book as a kid, but disliked the second movie due to overproduction.
To be fair, I am pretty sure he yearns for the days of miniatures and animatronics.

somethings definitely benefit from real props and things. completely made up fantasy worlds often don't. but i've noticed this is a generational thing.

Wolf of Wall Street - 9/10. Everything you could want. Humor, tits, drugs, and a rich guy balling out. Pretty decent story as well and as always DiCaprio crushed it.
Mandela Movie - 7/10. Tried to cover a lot of ground but it was a good movie, iris elba was great, and really i think gave a fair, interesting and insightful view into who Mandela was and the journey he took.
