Plenty of results, take your pick. Canadians didn't get their reputation for no reason. It's not terribly surprising, they're used to their waitresses being paid more before tip.

canucks north of lake ontario boat down all the time in summer and are shitty tippers. i only worked at a restaurant one summer and they were terrible to wait on.

I gave you a variety of different sources, but apparently you demand peer reviewed academic sources only. It sounds like you're just having a difficult time coming to terms with reality. Canadians have a reputation for being bad tippers and it surprises literally no one besides you. Your experience at a single Canadian pizza joint may not reflect this reality, or you might be used to it, but that doesn't matter. "Canadian" is literally being used as slang for "bad tipper." Get over it.
