I don't see how you can hate Michael Bay. He is a genius at what he does. Transformers? He turned f**k transformers, a second rate toy that even 90's kids didn't like, into a blockbuster...thats incredible. Hating on his because he will never and probably could never make a pulp fiction like movie is stupid. Every director has their niche and would be shit if they started venting outside of that to please lactate drinking hipsters like spider.

How can you say he isn't talented? He manages enormous, expensive productions, whic is far from easy. He's not an especially talented storyteller but he's objectively very good at what he does.
