In the Bible i know the only time the state came into the story of Jesus is when he was opposing it, lecturing it, over turning its evils.
If were going to talk about the support for cooperative social cohesion it was always in terms of a universal setting and easily would be called apolitical. None of what he said is exclusively left leaning. In the few quotes of the rich serving the poor, wealth distro, it was always in a context of spiritual balance in ones self. The parable outline of those quotes makes it obvious that its your soul that will receive or be denied the treasures from the kingdom of heaven.
BTW, im not a relig-o or anything, i just see the Bible as a damn good book for many reasons.
