Neither side has any reason to be particularly confident. Peyton is the undisputed best ever regular season QB with a record of post season mediocrity and poor performances in cold weather, whose one and only super bowl victory was against the Rex Grossman-lead Chicago Bears. The Seahawks have been damn near unstoppable at home but outside of Seattle they've just been above average, and untested (but overrated) Russel Wilson on this big a stage could easily fold like a lawn chair.

There are so many possibilities in this game that I think only a fool would make definitive predictions.

Somehow I found watching the Pro Bowl more entertaining than the Grammys.

Compared to what we've been having here lately it looks like the NFL is going to luck out.. Game time temp suppose to be in the mid to high 30's on Sunday.. A freakin heatwave compared to what we've been having.

I'm hearing that secondary ticket prices are taking a hit, they are down compared to other years. 2 west coast teams, 30 degree temps? Not everyone is dying to sit outside and watch the game... This year will probably be the last cold weather site for a SB..

I can tell you've lived on the east coast longer than me b/c you refer to Denver as west coast.

I think the weather makes it more of an experience and more interesting personally. I've read that SBs have so many non fans though that games can get quiet and the atmosphere dull. Hopefully not the case.
