Candide -Voltaire
I enjoyed the basic ideas but they aren't very novel for this time period, the writing style also lacks entertainment value. A classic though. 6/10

Catch-22 -Heller
My favorite book of all time, must read. 10/10

Rules for Radicals -Alinsky
I'm not really the target audience for this because I have no interest in organizing people in the manner Alinsky described. His political ideas are simplistic however on the right track. Verbose and boring. 3/10

First as Tragedy the as Farce -Zizek
Lots of obfuscating language that gets in the way of the concepts but there are great flashes of brilliance and insight which make it worth reading. 7/10

Of course. I'm about 2/3 of the way throughout but the premise and arguments are pretty clear. I found it quite compelling and thought it dealt with touchy issues in a very tactful manner.

Of course, this book reinforces everything I have been saying about immigrants dominating the US because of a superior culture. So in that sense, I'm probably the target audience.
