the appointment times are absolutely absurd, especially since most of the time they come in, hook a router-modem up to the coaxial cable in the living room, and then input your account information.(on your own f**k computer, no less)

i have to wait all day for a high school dropout to come and do something i could do in five minutes? bullshit.

and at least with TWC, you can go to one of their physical locations and get new hardware if you need it (DVRs, modems, routers, etc). i wish i could just do that and then "install" it myself. would be way more convenient and would save these telecom assholes money on "technicians".

Well its 2:30 and nothing yet. I live two blocks from their shop. So... Who the hell knows what they do with their day or how they plan it.

Also, the solution is to charge for missed appointments, like every other service person in the world does. Doctors do it. My wife does it at her spa. My dad does it when picking up garden equipment. You just make it clear to the customer before they schedule. You'll end up saving a fortune by weeding out the dickholes anyways. You don't want them as customers because they'll cost you a fortune in bullshit.

Yeah I'm way more pissed about losing a days wages than I would be for getting charged for missing an appointment that I scheduled.
