90% of the snow here melted, and then suddenly we got two more feet, with another storm coming in tonight.

now it's f**k everywhere again.

Can't say I miss the northeast. I hated that dirt brown slush, or the way the snow would cake over with a layer of ice when it got really cold. That said, the first powder snow might be one of my favorite events, always reminds me of the holidays.

Quick weather update: it's now completely sunny again. This place is useless, can't even rain for more than six hours.

I'm convinced the PNW has the best summers of anywhere. About 4 solid months of pretty much guaranteed awesome weather...not burning hot, not lukewarm and swampy. Just...perfect. Plus...we have year round skiing and ridiculous beer and wine festivals. If your into boating at all...this is the place to be. Best sailing/windsurfing/kiteboarding short of Australia.

The wet season though....it gets goddamn oppressive in January. If you have SAD issues...stay away.
