Glad Putin took my advice and called the US bluff. Also the idea that this is the start of a new Russian expansion to control all of Eastern Europe is ludicrous.

Putin has said the worst thing to happen was the dissolution of the USSR and now that he's making ecewry attempt to bring those countries back into the Russian fold its ludicrous? My god you must like being blindsided.

but the whole point is, russia didn't need to invade ukraine before because the president in exile was already handing ukraine over to russia. putin's plans for CCCP 2.0 were already going as planned. what's going on now is just russia trying to grab as much of ukraine as it can, as opposed to getting all of it. the position i'm coming from is making sure they get none of it. completely halt them in their tracks. they dont need to border some of these countries to bring them back into the russian sphere, they just need the EU and the US to not check them. that's why shutting them down now is important.

they're pro-eu now. that isn't a guarantee. and as i pointed out already, they don't need to border some of these countries to exert influence on them.
