indeed. i think it's the first MMO to start moving away from the WoW model.

and any real complaints i have about it too are things i'm sure are going to be fixed in later patches.

I liked the graphics and the improved fighting system in Arkham City, but I found the story to be much less intriguing than Arkham Asylum.

I am still playing Skyrim and BF3, but I just got into Sleeping Dogs, which I thought was a pretty righteous GTA rip-off. I really appreciated the very Batman-like hand-to-hand combat system.

Mass Effect 3 was a bit of a disappointment, but I still really enjoyed it. I miss being able to manually search for elements, and I thought the powers should have become more spectacular, but it was solid. Let's just say it beats out Gears of War 3 single-player, which I thought was mediocre, with occasional flashes of inspiration.

GW2 is f-ing awesome . Played my first dungeon today and had tons of fun.

I just bought the Metal Gear Solid HD collection on PSN. I plan on playing Peace Walker first since it's the only Metal Gear I haven't played. I've been through the entirety of the rest except for 4. 4 sucked balls in my opinion. Way too many cutscenes and they were lengthy as f**k. More of a movie than a game. A very convoluted movie at that. Subsistence (3) was definitely my favorite. + the online game for subsistence was pretty cool too.

Black Mesa -9/10

They've done a pretty excellent job of recreating Half-Life with a far more modern graphics engine. Game plays great, everything seems very authentic. Loads are still annoying, and I've had a couple of sound glitches, but I think that's my problem. Half-Life still holds up as a great game.

Its free, too.

Source engine (even this modded version) really isn't much of a system hog. Gotta remember, its 8 years old.

Think a shitty Nvidia integrated graphics chip in my motherboards going to handle it?

Can barely do kerbal space program (f**k awesome game btw).

I plan to slash out 30 quid on something boarderline capable in the near future (due to having a 300w psu I could use some advice actually). But for the time being, civ 4 and eu3 (with the graphics deliberately reduced by replacing the textures i might add) is about the best it can handle.
