You guys are totally distorting this issue. Almost everyone who marches in the entire parade marches under a banner of some sort, with an organization, and plenty of those organizations have little or nothing to do with being Irish. So again, what's their issue with letting a gay group march?

If gay people feel that it is necessary to create an affinity group and to create awareness in our society then it probably is necessary.
