unnatural vegetarian diets harmful to health

Unsurprising, except for the booze party. A lot of the vegetarians/vegans I know actually have drinking problems. Don't know why.

Is the study a simple regression model or does it take into consideration the chronology of events? Sometimes a person has a heart attack and the doctor tell them to adopt a vegetarian diet. Understanding chronology means the vegetarian diet helped improve health, but a simple regression would say that vegetarianism is positively correlation with heart attacks.

allergies develop when you're young. how would being a vegetarian affect allergies?

Eating healthy is not that difficult and is pretty much common sense.

1.) Don't gorge yourself

2.) You don't need more than 3 meals a day

3.) Eat a varied diet not steaks everyday

4.) Avoid processed and fast foods. Doritos, Mcdonalds, soda ect

5.) Try to eat natural and organic when you can

What gets you is the refined sugar. Meats and fats being bad for you strikes me more as a medical mantra rather than anything logical. And a great way to keep selling statin drugs to millions of people to their detriment.

Just avoid eating anything with ingredients that make it sound like it was manufactured on a Micheal Bay movie set. No fast food or boxed/frozen meals. Stay away from pretty much anything with added sugar. If you go to a BBQ and get too excited...take it easy the next day. Or the next two days lol.

Just avoid sugar. A slab of meat is a perfectly natural thing for an apex predator like homo sapiens to be munching on. A pile of granulated snow white sucrose, or corn somehow transmuted into super sweet goo, however, might as well be something from another planet.

Besides what Ueber points out, this is only good for Austrian men. That won't necessarily translate over to American men and their diets.

Of course I like my meat and my inclination is to believe eating some meat is better than none at all, but in America I'd imagine vegetarians by choice are healthier than the average American.

They're healthier than average because they give a damn and make an effort. And maybe get some exercise. The vegetarianism is probably fairly useless.

But whatever works for people I guess.
