Obamacare is . . . working? Yes, it's true that the uninsured rate has fallen dramatically over the past 2 quarters. But, it's still higher than it was during the Great Recession (4Q2008). And, since the deadline has passed for signing up, that trend likely won't continue it's steeply-downward trend.
So, through mandated health insurance, expanded Medicaid, subsidized insurance premiums, and nationwide insurance exchanges, we're basically back to 2008. I guess that any progress is good progress, but I'd hoped for more.
(Just to be clear, I'm NOT one of those people, like I imagine exist at RNC HQ right now, that are actively hoping that PPACA fails. While I might expect it to fail, I "hope" that I am wrong, and that it works.)
