f**k - I'm gonna die before the last book is published.
To be honest, I've stopped watching. The damn series is hard enough to keep track of when you're reading, and there are 33 characters by whom the story is told, with dozens more to keep track of. Add in the fact that the TV series sometimes takes things out of order, skips parts, or over-emphasizes other parts . . . plus since I know what's coming.
It's just not fun to watch anymore.

did anyone else picture the books about 150 years or so ahead of the show in terms of most tech. the way GRRM describes stuff in the books I pictured Westeros as more early 1400s looking. The show looks pretty 1200s. More sophisticated, more "The Borgias" looking.
