my point was if the quebecoisers ever decide on dumping your queen tyrannt and join the 18th century, the west of canada would look ripe for american annexation, and probably would go easily. however, there is a wrinkle in that because of the west new found wealth it has improved canada's wealth and lessened the liklihood of parts of canada breaking away.

so in the end i am saying your entire country is maintained because of the high price of oil and your country's wanton destruction of pristine lands that no one visited before because no one really gave a shit about it, and if you argue against such practices you can't be a patriot and in fact are arguing in favor of succession of quebec and, in extension, the loss of the west to a resurgent manifest destiny for the glorious american nation
