There is always going to be some standardized test for getting into post-secondary school. I'm not sure that any of us are experts on how, exactly, to gear a test so that it will predict college performance.
For instance, I scored a 32 on the ACT. Was in the top 10% of my graduating class. And, my first 3 semesters' GPA in college was 0.9, 1.2, and 1.9. Basically, I goofed off. I eventually graduated with a 3.4, then got a 169 on the LSAT and 691 on the GMAT (interesting that it was the same numbers, just different order). But, I only graduated with a 3.7 in my MBA.
But, these tests are geared towards "test takers". I know lots of people who are better in business than me, but scored far lower. They hate tests. I just don't know any way to get around the test taking portion of evaluations.
