How do we know the mom wasn't running after the dog, to scare it away or something?

However, I still would not have done that. I would have carried my child inside. Did you see photos of the kid's leg? I thought it had him by the shorts in the video. But, he had pretty nasty gashes in his leg. Through the skin, through the fat, into the muscle. Nasty.

I don't think the mom was running away, I'm pretty sure she went to go make sure the dog was not on its way back, coming from in between the cars. She couldn't see if it had left or not - her view was blocked by a car. Had she picked the kid up and the dog came back, they both would have been open for attack with her not being able to do anything other than potentially dropping the kid.

To the person saying the cat was protecting its territory, that person has obviously never seen how a cat protects its territory. Cats pretty much never go balls in like that from the second there's a territory issue. They usually spend a lot of time growling and puffing up and then attack if the intruder doesn't go. Not enough time for any of that to have happened. The attack only usually comes if the intruder runs (and gets caught) or if the attacker doesn't go and gets too close to the cat.

Not saying its impossible but nothing from that cat looked like a territory issue.

I have quite a few strays around my apartment and I see territory fights ALL the time. Especially at 3-4am when I should be sleeping but can't due to loud cat howls.

he didn't break his back. he got bit on an extremity. it's downright insane to leave the kid out there. she didn't run around the car looking for the dog. you would have seen her on the other side of the car if she ran in the exact opposite way the dog went looking for the dog (lol yeah that's what she was doing)

but then on top of that the kid runs inside himself. way to go mom. look at that, kid isn't paralyzed, kid is just hurt and doesn't know what happened and is upset and jsut wants his f**k mommy and you run inside. who would have thought that a dog biting a kid on a leg didn't result in brain damage

take the kid inside, close the door, stop bleeding, etc, take to hospital. it's not like it even needs an ambulance, could just take him in yourself. "wait for professionals" god, if you cut yourself with some glass you call a f**k ambulance? he wasn't passed out, he was bit by a f**k dog. sure he needed stitches. stitches don't need an ambulance. and we wonder why health care costs do much. only reason you needed a cop there would be to put that dog down if you didn't have a gun yourself
