I'm no weightlifting expert, but 5 sets of 10 sounds like a bit much. I used to lift weights quite a bit when I was younger (and when I played sports) and I don't ever recall doing 5 sets of anything. Then again, we lifted solid rocks and dinosaur bones back in the day so I'm sure sports training has come a long way since then.
