Why do liberals join the Navy?

It seems like liberals who are in the military tend to be in the Navy? What is it about the Navy that attracts liberals? I know a couple hardcore liberals who are in the Air Force.

i don't know any of liberal in the navy. i have never met one. this is coming from someone whose father was career navy. of course, he was an officer so we didn't ever deal with the seamen

I know several. It's the smartest branch so it makes sense that's where they would end up.

Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.
If guns are not outlawed, the in-laws will have guns.
