Bush,Cheney and the rest lied to everyone to get us in there.. I DO NOT forgive the Dems for their role in this mess. But again, we were all lied to. The Bush Admin lied about Iraq's role in 9/11, about the WMD's and about the aluminum tubes that they KNEW were not going to be used for nukes, but the told everyone Saddam was using them to try and build nukes..

If they didn't lie would the Dems have gone along with the invasion? Probably, before Obama Congress usually backed and got behind the President on foreign 'adventurers', even stupid ones.. Vietnam is a perfect example...

That still doesn't excuse the lies by the previous Admin that got us in there.

While Bush deserves more blame for his disastrous foreign policy, he and his I'll actually bought into this absurd neocon belief system and thought they were making the world a better place, ridiculous as it may sound. Obama on the other hand knew that these were lost causes but allows another 2000 Americans to die so he didn't have to take the political flack for admitting we were going to lose both wars
