It's not a strawman argument. As head of state of Palestine, their actions directly affect this conflict. They bombed Israel for the entire duration of the 6 hour ceasefire and you get mad at Israel when they offer a response. What am I supposed to think? You get mad at the person that was attacked because they wish to respond in kind to being attacked. That's not logical. That'd be like me getting my ass curb stomped for six hours and when I can finally muster the strength to retaliate, someone angrily prevents me from doing so. What is your course of action for Israel? Sure, these bombs are ineffective now, but what if they weren't? What if Hamas improves its offensive capabilities? That's why you have to argue on principle. Hamas fired 100 rockets in 6 hours and got the response they expected from Israel. Don't be upset that Israel is much more efficient at keeping its word than Hamas.
