194-1 and Israel vows revenge

Whenever Israel is mentioned there's always talk about "measured responses" as if that should pertain to anything. Basically, you're upset that Israel is far more effective at killing it's enemies then their enemies are at killing them. Would it suffice you enough if 200 people had died on both sides? This is yet another common argument of the pro-Palestinian crowd in their attempts to defend the indefensible. I understand it can be hard to defend a group of people that poke Israel into striking, democratically elected a terrorist organization to be its head of state and one that is ardently a supporter of extremist forms if Islam. So why try? Trying to defend that is why you get the conflated and erroneous arguments that you do from those who are pro-Palestine. You brush the fact that the Palestinians launched 100 rockets in 6 hours under a rug because it killed one Israeli, completely ignoring the fact that they fired 100 GODDAMN MISSILES IN 6 HOURS WHILE ISRAEL DID NOT FIRE ONCE.

It's not a strawman argument. As head of state of Palestine, their actions directly affect this conflict. They bombed Israel for the entire duration of the 6 hour ceasefire and you get mad at Israel when they offer a response. What am I supposed to think? You get mad at the person that was attacked because they wish to respond in kind to being attacked. That's not logical. That'd be like me getting my ass curb stomped for six hours and when I can finally muster the strength to retaliate, someone angrily prevents me from doing so. What is your course of action for Israel? Sure, these bombs are ineffective now, but what if they weren't? What if Hamas improves its offensive capabilities? That's why you have to argue on principle. Hamas fired 100 rockets in 6 hours and got the response they expected from Israel. Don't be upset that Israel is much more efficient at keeping its word than Hamas.

Hamas uses civilian areas for cover... Everyone knows that.

Anyway for 40 years I have seen pictures of Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli tanks and armor vehicles. And nothing has changed, the Palestinians are still fighting a 21st century enemy with their 19 century weapons.

I feel bad for the Palestinian civilians, but I have almost lost all sympathy for them.. They just keep putting idiots in charge like Arafat and Hamas, and things only get worse for them instead of getting better.. They got to smarten up..
