Which one? His fallacy argument? The Israeli Supreme Court seems to be a good authority on this issue, so I don't think that fallacy works. However, they did only apply occupation status to settlements in Gaza and the West Bank, not the entire region.

The annexation of Jerusalem and Golan Heights was declared illegal by the Security Council and has yet to be recognized by any other state.

Yet, they approved their status as a member state of the United Nations in 1949 by a 9-1 vote. That pretty much means they recognize the annexation of those lands in favor of Israel. All but one of the 15 current security council nations recognize the state of Israel. So......
