Rush Limbaugh on the immigration problem

I was going to make this a serious discussion topic but I was laughing uncontrollably by the absurd comparisons being made not only in the article but by Rush too.

It would be hard to take such absurd statements and seriously discuss them.

I about lost it when he said that Obama shut down Jellystone National Park. lol. Yogi Bear was really hurt by that one!

The argument is that if Obama can shut down the Grand Canyon, he can shut down the the border. Because, you know, law-abiding citizens not going into a national park (or national monument) is the exact same as putting up a "closed" sign on the border and people just saying "oh, they say the border is closed - we best not enter now."

Whats even funnier is when he says all of these things were shut down, yet fails to mention how people were illegally going into some of them anyways, despite being closed.

Oh, the absurd things people say. Its good for a laugh anyways.

As much of a dipshit as Reagan was about half the time, he was at least a patriot. He actually got what this place was supposed to be about. People like Cruz would be beneath the man's contempt, and he'd be dismayed at this bizarre revisionist idea of what he was about that they've created.

I don't think Reagan was a dip-shit. I think many of his policies were ok for the time. They just stuck with his policies. That was the mistake.

i am fine with open borders on the condition that services that address individuals (so not police, fire,etc) are excluded from non-citizens. but it is idiocy to suggest amnesty is the answer to the problem; it exaggerates it. the reason they are all coming right now is simply because the rhetoric from certain people (reed, rubio, obama) means they believe they will get amnesty. im fine with supporting their american-born children, meaning, adults who can work come here and start a family and their children are citizens even if they never become them. but their plague of border hopping welfarecases is not good
