Hey, I was wondering if any of you have ever been, or considered becoming a truck driver? I'm thinking of getting into it. Would like to do one year of OTR at one of the megas (looking at Swift or Schneider, or any company that pays for schooling) then move into the oil fields. A fellow petitioner I know went to North Dakota straight out of CDL school and claims he is making $12k/mo as a water truck driver or something. He's a compulsive liar but am hoping there is some truth to this. I don't wanna be stuck up there during the winter, so prolly too late in the year to try this.

Probably something to it. North Dakota is supposed be having an economic boom from fracking.
