I don't know how blind you have to be these days--obviously willfully so--to not notice the alarming number examples of Blame the Victim, along with slut-shaming and somehow inferring that certain types of rape are okay (if not "legitimate").

Misogyny seems to be making a comeback. And the barbaric/archaic attitudes towards women, towards victimizing them and what their rights should be seem right out of the Taliban.

the point is, his comments had nothing whatsoever to do with rape, rape culture, blaming the victim or anything. All he said is that not every man you meet, is going to turn the other cheek when provoked. Some men will hit you if you give them a reason to hit you, so be careful, not every guy is going to be the bigger man and turn away. NOthing whatsoever to do with blaming the victum, or slut shaming, or sex in general.

The point is, everyone made it about sex slut shaming or what not.


I had a woman throw a glass vase at my head and i required 10 stitches about what, 8 years ago when I broke up with her. The latest in pointless SJW slacktivism: Richard Dawkins has dared to suggest that maybe violent rape at knifepoint by a stranger is a worse experience than date rape. Obviously this is a symptom of patriarchal rape culture ingrained in the old senile racist. Everyone knows all crimes are equivalent to each other, and there is no scale. Our justice systems makes no distinction between manslaughter, first degree, second degree, etc murders. All people convicted of murder serve the exact same sentences and circumstances are irrelevant.
