What is the difference between ISIS and Hamas.

The difference? ISIS is a less retarded version of HAMAS. Same goals, same stated ideology, same view toward the rest of the world (infidels to be exterminated). ISIS is smarter and more effective and can take over large swaths of land to carry out its stated aims. HAMAS has been prevented from similar behavior by the IDF.

Same groups. Different levels of power. But some on here will advocate to give HAMAS more power, so they can act like ISIS. Despite not supporting ISIS (a position they have never actually explicitly taken...I wonder why?).

Israel national news? Not really a source that should be worth anyone's time.

But the difference? Isis wants an Islamic state where anyone that follows any other religion or has any other beliefs will be murdered. Even if you still believe hamas still follows its charter, that says it is possible for people different religions can coexist peacefully (all be it in an Islamic state). A pretty striking difference.

Ultimately it's their interpretations of Islam which hugely differ.

ISIS and HAMAS have nothing in common other than being violent, and even that is a bit of a stretch. ISIS is sweeping through Iraq, killing people by the tens of thousands and HAMAS can't even average 1 person per rocket. Or even 1 person per 50 rockets. HAMAS is completely ineffective as a military strength.

Their goals are almost completely different as well, with the only similarity shared between the two being that both want to have their own Islamic state. But even those two Islamic states would be completely different in rules/laws.

Hama's has total control of Gaza and if they wanted to they could act just like ISIS. Weirdly enough they don't. Might be because they are nothing alike?
