Can anyone give me a concise explanation into the differences between a Governor, congressman & senator?
What are each responsible for?

I'd probably go for veep, since it looks like a pretty cushy job. Just play golf all day, who cares?

Governor, definitely.

Other than the POTUS, a Governor is the 2nd most influential/powerful person in most people's lives. Most governors have far more power than the President (I mean power as in line-item vetos, cabinet appointments without approval, etc.). Also, because, under most circumstances, the state still has the final say in most regulatory matters, the governor is responsible for far more laws than the President.
