I don't know, they both felt strangely reminiscent of each other. Yeah there are obvious moments where they differ, like when Landa is interrogating people, but the general manners are the same. Again character context matters. I'm not complaining though, Waltz was great in both.

I just love how Dharma assumes that every individual is nothing more than a mirror for Western culture, all while acknowledging the illegitimacy and hatred that same individual has towards our government and institutions.

It is the same cognitive dissonance he portrays when he describes the West as a bumbling idiot that has conspired to dominate the planet using sophisticated techniques.

To describe the average Westerner as equivalent morally to ISIS is completely f**k up. It can never be justified.
