Absolutely, "we are multitudes," but I don't claim to have an overarching political, philosophical and moral framework in which everything can be explained, justified, condemned or analyzed.

Dharma's ideological framework has always been his greatest weakness. He literally believes that he has it all figured out.

Fair enough. I agree with Dharma on much as well, so I understand what you are saying. The issue is that he has adopted a deluded sense of ideological cohesion - which is why I take the time to poke holes in so much of what he says.

For instance, I consider Dharma to be the most racist member of this board, after jimmyz. I also think he is tremendously sexist towards women who don't fit the mold he has for femininity (just ask him about sex workers).

So at some point you draw the line. Where is that line? Hard to say. But the best thing everyone can do is abandon political ideology altogether. It is a tremendous weakness. Until the most basic belief you have is that no situation is ever alike and no solution always (or even mostly) works, you aren't thinking to your full potential.

I just posted a lecture about abandoning ideology and the need for rethinking cultural values. This concept is the entire basis for my thinking and most of my arguments designed to illustrate why this course of action is necessary.

I've never made a racist statement on this board and routinely condemn the racist attitudes you and others unconsciously emit. This you interpret as racism, according to reasoning I can't really fathom. As for sex workers, I don't like to see people degrade themselves, which is what selling yourself as a commodity is all about. I would say the same about being a celebrity because in my view it's the same thing. It has nothing to do with sex other than as an incidental desire than humans have that can be exploited and everything with commodifying and exploiting a human being as if they were an inanimate object. This you interpret as sexism, somehow.

You don't understand where I'm coming from so you interpret what I say in terms of how you see the world. And you won't even bother to try and understand another perspective. This is your loss.
