Hope not. If Alabama beats somebody outside the conference, good for them. If it's SEC vs SEC, it's not a true national championship.
They should have an asterisk next to the one from last year (lost to the team they played in the NC once, and didn't play other teams outside the conference for the NC, so it doesn't really count).
