I'd be surprised if this is true, the Occupy movement (such as it is) is fairly left wing, and it isn't really terribly left wing to meet up for tea and muffins with the leader of a very right wing theocracy.

Yeah seeing reports now that OWS are somewhat pissed as FARS for suggesting this was happening.

I don't know if I buy this theory of some kind of super secret conspiracy between OWS, Alex Jones, Ahmadinejad, and Vladimir Putin.

Isn't there a more probable explanation, like this is a smear job conceived by the reactionary element in the US? You know, to make OWS look bad.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was: really?

What a blatant attempt to discredit the sentiment of OWS, by tying them to--eeeeek!--President I'm-a-dinner-jacket.

Because of course, as everybody knows, if you're against oligarch/plutocratic takeover of the U.S. by the banking industry and the super-rich, it stand to reason it's because you're a Hezbollah sympathizer.
