i know we're all too highbrow for Time (Because lets be honest, we all read the new yorker while sipping lattes at starbucks on a daily basis) but they had a piece titled "One Nation On Welfare. Living Your Life On The Dole". did a good job of explaining how anything and everything is subsidized.

The teachers in my kid's school district get 84 work-days off per school year. That's 16.8 f**k work-weeks!!! Does anyone else here get 16.8 work-weeks off from their jobs? Paid!? Don't even talk to me about the very generous benefits of fully paid health insurance, dental, and pensions.

I wouldn't do that job for 3 times that much.
I'd wind up in jail...would last about to the first thursday, and then I'd start knocking teeth out of smart mouths.
