Honestly I don't know who was in the booths..Since this started I have wondered if regular NFL people were doing the replays, of if they were also replacements.. I never heard either way,,,, Anyway even with the regular refs many times the 'booth' officials are reluctant to overturn the call on the field..
And in this case, because the replacements refs had been taking a total beating in the media and from the coaches and players before Monday nights game maybe, maybe the booth officials might have been even more reluctant to show them up by overturning their call on the field. Before this past weekends games the NFL sent out a strongly worded memo to the players, and the coaches to go easy on the replacements,, Maybe the booth officials got the same memo.
And lets face it, these guys are human.. If the game was in Green Bay the call on the field, and if it came to it, the call in the booth might have been different.. One thing I noticed BIG TIME with these replacement refs is they were being influenced a lot by the players and coaches.. Thus the late flags, the no flags, etc.. Again, IMO if this game was in GB, it might have been totally different.
