No. There has never been another creature like us. You know what I'm talking about too. I'm not going to entertain any sort of discussion that other creatures were like us millions of years ago. It's. It relevant at all. No other creature has our communication abilities, can build machines, or create comprehensive theories to explain the why of life. None. It's not something you can argue against.

And we have the technology to colonize other planets right now. We just don't have the money or need to do so. Even if we didn't, we could easily have it if we wanted to, and likely will have the technology in the next couple of decades simply as a byproduct of other scientific endeavors, let alone any sort of concentrated effort toward colonization.

I also don't get what Dharma is on about. Humanity is awesome and will one day save millions of species by leaving. Which we are under no obligation to do by the way.
