This is fantastic, but it still worries me.
They gave the boot to the Islamists. But it is one thing to attack a couple headquarters in the middle of a Civil War, another to do so in peace-time. Has this actually accomplished anything but driven these elements back underground, where they tend to operate most effectively anyways?
I sincerely hope so. I'd love to see Syria win this war against the regime, and establish a peaceful, non-authoritarian government. But I'm not sure this will be possible if they antagonize terrorists too much.
