Had I not read this post I'd have been more excited to go see this movie. Now I got nothing but skepticism going for me if or when I actually do decide to see it.

Since he's from the Dallas/Ft Worth area, I've read quite a bit of reporting on him, especially that supposed carjacking incident. His reputation locally was already under serious question before this movie came out. While I think Jessie Ventura is a nut, his winning of that lawsuit really brought some of Kyles warts to the forefront.

I'll still see the movie as a movie because it appears well made, but I'll definitely have a serious grain of salt in the back of my mind due to the stories that have arisen about him.
